Getting Lost
People tend to worry about navigation in Africa especially once the main roads have been left behind. These days the situation is much improved with digital mapping and Tracks4Africa, however offroad the trails can change with the weather so local knowledge is key and when crossing river for example always ask especially if you meet a vehicle coming in the opposite direction.
